The next few months could be big for Indian motorcycle buyers.

Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj, and Harley-Davidson are gearing up to release five important launches, from updated commuters and sportbikes to a new adventure motorcycle and more traditional Harley cruiser. From the refreshed Hero Xtreme 160R 4V to Bajaj’s first adventure bike, here are the five motorcycles expected to arrive soon in India.

1. Hero Xtreme 160R 4V

Hero MotoCorp has teased an updated version of the Xtreme 160R 4V that is one of their most popular 160cc motorcycles. The teaser only shows the exhaust and rear section, but it strongly suggests a styling update and improved equipment.

The biggest expected addition is a TFT instrument console, replacing the current digital display. The existing Xtreme 160R 4V already offers ride modes, USD front forks, and a drag timer, so the new version could add more premium features and a sharper style.

What to expect:

Updated design and new graphics

TFT instrument cluster

Possible new features and colour options

Same 160cc four-valve engine

Launch date and price yet to be announced

The Xtreme 160R 4V competes with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar N160, and Honda Unicorn. A TFT display would help Hero keep the motorcycle competitive in a segment where features matter more than ever.

2. Harley-Davidson Sprint 440

The Harley-Davidson Sprint 440 could be the most exciting launch on this list. Unlike the roadster-style X440, the Sprint 440 is expected to have a more traditional cruiser design, with a long, low stance and classic Harley proportions.

The motorcycle features a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, swept-back handlebars, and a deeply scooped rider seat. It is expected to use the same 440cc single-cylinder engine as the X440, producing 27 hp and 38 Nm that is paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The Sprint 440 would provide buyers with the opportunity to experience the Harley-Davidson experience in a more relaxed way. Its final price and specs have not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be positioned near the X440.

3. Updated Bajaj Pulsar NS200

Bajaj is preparing a major update for the Pulsar NS200 and bookings have reportedly opened at select dealerships ahead of launch. The updated NS200 is expected to receive one of the biggest feature upgrades in its history.

The new motorcycle is expected to get a 5-inch TFT display, quickshifter, four riding modes, and traction control. It will also get radial tyres, adjustable levers, and a USB Type-C charging port. A new Nardo Grey colour has also been spotted.

The current 199cc liquid-cooled engine is expected to continue, though reports suggest that output could rise slightly to 25.5 hp. The updated NS200 should reach dealerships soon, but its price is likely to increase compared with the current model.

4. Updated Bajaj Pulsar RS200

The fully faired Pulsar RS200 is also expected to receive an important upgrade. Test mules have been spotted with USD front forks and a 5-inch TFT instrument console, bringing the sportbike closer to newer Pulsar models in terms of hardware.

The 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine is expected to remain unchanged, producing 24.5 hp and 18.7 Nm. However, the addition of USD forks would be a major improvement in ride quality, handling, and premium feel.

Expected updates:

USD front forks

5-inch TFT display

Revised switchgear

Adjustable levers

Same 199.5cc engine with 24.5 hp and 18.7 Nm

The RS200 has already received a styling and display update in 2025, so this new upgrade focuses more on suspension and hardware. It will continue to compete with the KTM RC 200, Yamaha R15 V4, and TVS Apache RR310.

5. Bajaj’s First Adventure Bike

Bajaj’s first adventure motorcycle has been spotted testing in both India and Brazil. The prototype has an upright riding position, front beak, fork gaiters, and wire-spoke wheels, suggesting that it is designed for broken roads, light trails, and long-distance touring.

The adventure bike is expected to use a 249cc air/oil-cooled engine, possibly derived from the Pulsar N250. That engine produces 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm of torque. A TFT display has also been seen on test bikes.

Expected highlights:

249cc air/oil-cooled engine

Around 24.5 PS and 21.5 Nm

TFT display

Wire-spoke wheels

Front beak and adventure styling

Expected by late 2026 or early 2027

This could be one of Bajaj’s most important new motorcycles in years. If priced aggressively, it could challenge the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, TVS Apache RTX 300, and other entry-level adventure bikes.
