590 HP GranTurismo, 530 HP Grecale & A Rs. 3 Crore GranCabrio That Will BLOW YOUR MIND!
Maserati India has announced that it will be launching the facelifted Grecale SUV, GranTurismo coupe, and GranCabrio convertible in India on October 30. The luxury automaker has made several updates to the updated models including revised styling, more powerful engines, improved cabin tech, and more personalisation options.
The biggest change is under the bonnet of the Grecale Modena which gets Maserati’s 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 instead of the four-cylinder engine, while the GranTurismo and GranCabrio Trofeo variants get a 40 hp power bump. Priced from around Rs. 1.14 crore for the Grecale and going up to Rs. 3 crore for the GranCabrio, Maserati appears to be targeting India’s ultra-premium performance car buyers with these models.
Grecale Now With a V6 in Modena
The facelifted Grecale will continue in three variants namely the standard, Modena, and Trofeo. The base model of the Greale will continue to feature the 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine producing 300 hp.
However, the Modena variant gets a significant upgrade as it gets Maserati’s 3.0-litre Nettuno V6 which produces around 390 hp, replacing the 2.0-litre engine and giving the mid-spec SUV more powerful performance.
The range-topping Greale Trofeo continues to feature the Nettuno V6 in a higher state of tune delivering 530 hp.

Greale powertrain options:
Standard: 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, 300 hp
Modena: 3.0-litre V6, 390 hp
Trofeo: 3.0-litre V6, 530 hp
Maserati’s Nettuno V6 is expected to deliver strong low-end torque and smoother power delivery. According to Maserati, the 385 hp version of the new V6 delivers about 32% more torque than the 2.0-litre engine at 2,000 rpm, making it more responsive on everyday driving.
GranTurismo: Up to 590 hp
The GranTurismo continues to be Maserati’s flagship grand tourer. The facelifted GranTurismo continues to feature the 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine, but the top-spec Trofeo now produces 590 hp, up 40 hp from before.
The power bump is due to higher turbo boost pressure and some minor engine tweaks. The power output from the GranTurismo Modena is 490 hp while the Trofeo outputs 590 hp.
GranTurismo engine options:
Modena: 3.0-litre V6, 490 hp
Trofeo: 3.0-litre V6, 590 hp
The GranTurismo is currently priced from Rs. 2.54 crore to Rs. 2.72 crore. With the facelift, buyer can expect revised styling along with updated tech and personalisation options.
GranCabrio: The Rs. 3 Crore Convertible
The GranCabrio is the open-top version of the GranTurismo. It shares the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine as the GranTurismo and offers the same performance figures.
GranCabrio Modena: 490 hp
GranCabrio Trofeo: 590 hp
The GranCabrio is priced at around Rs. 3 crore which makes it one of the most expensive convertibles on sale in India. It seems to target buyers who value open-air luxury coupled with Italian performance and exclusivity.
