Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched the Jawa 42 All Stars, completing its three-bike All-Stars lineup of 42 FJ and 42 Bobber just before the 2026 festive season. Priced from ₹1,79,942 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the evolved 42 is the company’s biggest evolution yet of the motorcycle which launched the modern classic category in India.
All-Stars philosophy: Character, conduct and courage
The All-Stars story, according to Jawa, is seeded in the rider community itself, confident and individualistic yet feeling a sense of belonging to a community guided by certain traits of character, conduct and courage. This code, Jawa believes, is familiar to many from communities from defence to sports – discipline, trust, camaraderie and respect, yet with a larger purpose in mind.
Each All-Stars motorcycle has its own expression of the Jawa spirit, but all three vehicles share:
A shared All-Stars insignia and star motif across graphics and badging,
distinct design languages, and
a focus on riders who ‘live by the code even when there is no audience’.
Strike One: Jawa 42 FJ – contemporary, sporty neo-classic expression
Strike Two: Jawa 42 Bobber – individualist, minimalist bobber format (unveiled by Anand Mahindra at the Global Chess League)
Strike Three: Jawa 42 All Stars – evolved flagship tying the three together
Design and styling: Bolder, sportier, more muscular
The Jawa 42 All Stars has been re-designed to command a greater road presence, and a more athletic stance.

Key exterior and styling highlights:
Wider, more muscular rear section with a broader rear fender
New 150/70-17 rear tyre (up from the earlier size), giving a wider footprint
New alloy wheel design for a more contemporary look
Compact upswept twin exhaust, improving both aesthetics and water-wading resilience
Reworked side panels, footpegs and rear section for tighter, cleaner lines
Retains signature elements: round headlamp, 13.2-litre fuel tank, flat bench-style seat
The seat height has increased to 795 mm (vs earlier ~790 mm), sculpted with enhanced cushioning, yet retaining the characteristic flat, bench-like profile of the original 42. Overall, the bike has a broader, lower profile, especially with an emphasis on the rear three-quarter view.
Engine and performance: J-Panther 295cc, six-speed, dual-channel ABS
Mechanically, the Jawa 42 All Stars retains the proven J-Panther powertrain, but with refinements to improve agility and control.
Engine: 294.72 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC
Power: 27.19 bhp @ 7,950 rpm
Torque: 26.3 Nm @ 6,000 rpm
Gearbox: 6-speed constant-mesh
Brakes: 280 mm front disc + 240 mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS
Weight: 175 kg (kerb)
Fuel tank: 13.2 litres
Engineering changes go deeper into visible design features. Jawa says that it has worked on:
Mass distribution
Frame and swingarm stiffness
Ergonomics and handling
Ride comfort and control
The aim is to make the evolved 42 more agile and controlled, without losing the approachable, easy-to-ride character that defined the original.
Colours, pricing and variants
The Jawa 42 All Stars will be available in six colourways, a clear price ladder based on paint and graphics:
Jawa 42 All Stars Black: ₹1,89,942

Bookings and deliveries: Festive-season push
Bookings for the Jawa 42 All Stars are open now at Jawa Yezdi dealerships across India. The company has confirmed that deliveries will start from the onset of festivities, i.e. 14 September 2026, allowing the bike to feature prominently in festive purchases and gifting.
This timing is strategic:
Aligns with peak two-wheeler buying season
Gives Jawa a fresh flagship to showcase along with the 42 FJ and 42 Bobber
Reinforces the All-Stars narrative as a community, not just a product line
Ownership Assurance Program: 4-year warranty, up to 8 years RSA
Jawa Yezdi continues with its Ownership Assurance Program, one of the most comprehensive packages in the performance-classic segment.
Key benefits:
4-year / 50,000 km standard warranty
Extended warranty options up to 6 years
Roadside assistance up to 8 years

Yezdi Roadster / Yezdi Scrambler
BSA Gold Star 350
To some extent, entry-level sport classics like the KTM 390 Duke (for performance-focused buyers)
Its key differentiators are:
Distinctive modern classic design with liquid-cooled performance
Six-speed gearbox and dual-channel ABS as standard
Strong community and lifestyle positioning via the All-Stars identity
Comprehensive warranty and ownership benefits
Why the 42 All Stars matters for Jawa
The original Jawa 42 was the bike which launched the brand’s modern-day journey in 2018, introducing India to the modern classic category with its off-centre instrument panel, retro styling and bold colourways. The All Stars 42 is not a complete reinvention, but a mature evolution:
It retains the DNA that made the 42 recognizable
Has over 60 enhancements in design, ergonomics and engineering
Unifies three distinct formats (42, 42 FJ, 42 Bobber) under one All-Stars code
For Jawa, the 42 All Stars is both a product update and a brand statement: the modern classic is no longer about looks, but also about a rider community who shares a way of conducting themselves on and off the road. With bookings open and deliveries starting mid-September, the 42 All Stars is clearly the brand’s festive-season flagship.
