Hero MotoCorp Launches New Glamour X 125 in India With First-in-Segment Integrated ABS and Advanced Safety Features

The main highlight of the new Glamour X is its Integrated ABS setup. Hero MotoCorp states that the motorcycle is the first model in the 125cc segment to feature single-channel ABS paired with an Integrated Braking System.
This technology is designed to improve braking stability and reduce braking distances across different road conditions. It is especially useful during sudden braking, wet-road riding and emergency situations, when maintaining control of the motorcycle is essential.
The new braking technology builds upon the existing safety equipment on the Glamour X 125. The motorcycle comes with a Panic Brake Alert that activates fast-flashing LED winkers during emergency braking. This feature warns vehicles and riders approaching from behind and can help reduce the risk of a rear-end collision.
The motorcycle also features hazard lamps, which can be used to alert other road users when the rider is stopped due to an emergency or is travelling in difficult conditions.
Sporty and futuristic design
The Hero Glamour X 125 has been designed with a muscular and sculpted appearance. Its sharp body panels, sporty graphics and distinctive front profile provide it with a stronger road presence than a conventional commuter motorcycle.
The motorcycle receives a full LED lighting package, including Hero’s signature ‘H’ design elements. The LED headlamp and tail-lamp improve visibility at night while adding to the bike’s modern appearance.
The new variant is offered in two new colours: Gun Metal Grey and Matt Axis Grey. These are available alongside the existing Black Pearl Red and Black Teal Blue options. With four colour choices, buyers have more flexibility to choose between subtle and sporty finishes.

Connected features and digital console
The Glamour X 125 is equipped with a 10.7cm adaptive multi-colour digital console. The display includes ambient lighting and offers more than 60 features, making it one of the most feature-rich instrument clusters in the 125cc motorcycle segment.
Important information available on the console includes a Gear Shift Advisory, Distance-to-Empty display and Real-Time Mileage Indicator. These functions are designed to aid riders in improving efficiency and managing fuel more effectively during daily use.
The motorcycle also comes with Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can access call and SMS alerts through the console, allowing them to be informed without having to continually check their smartphones while riding.
Turn-by-turn navigation is another key feature. The system provides navigation guidance along with an estimated time of arrival display. This can be beneficial for city commuters who frequently travel through unfamiliar areas.
Three ride modes and cruise control
The Glamour X 125 is powered by Hero MotoCorp’s Sprint-EBT engine. The motor produces 11.4bhp, or 8.5kW, at 8,250rpm. The engine has been developed to offer smooth power delivery and low noise, vibration and harshness levels.
The motorcycle comes with three ride modes: Eco, Road and Power. Eco is designed to prioritise fuel efficiency and relaxed riding. Road offers a balanced setup for regular city riding, while Power provides a sharper throttle response for riders who seek a stronger acceleration.
The Glamour X 125 also features cruise control, which is unusual in the 125cc commuter segment. Cruise control can reduce rider fatigue during longer rides by maintaining a steady speed without requiring constant throttle input. It can also aid in improving fuel efficiency when riding on open roads.
The combination of ride modes and cruise control provides the motorcycle with a more technologically advanced character than traditional commuter bikes.
Comfort and daily practicality
Hero MotoCorp has focused on making the Glamour X 125 comfortable and easy to use in everyday conditions. The motorcycle features a wide handlebar that provides a more relaxed riding posture and improved control in traffic.
A long, flat seat offers added comfort for both the rider and pillion passenger. The low seat height makes it easier for a wider range of riders to place their feet on the ground, particularly during stops and slow-speed manoeuvres.
The motorcycle also receives dual under-seat mobile storage, giving riders space to carry small personal items. A Type-C USB charging port is included for charging smartphones and other compatible devices while travelling.

The new Hero Glamour X 125 with Integrated ABS is priced at ₹1,01,000, ex-showroom Delhi. The motorcycle is available at Hero MotoCorp dealerships across India.
