Hyundai Motor India has unveiled a new Lounge Edition for the Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric, creating a more premium and entertainment-centric SUV range. Prices start from ₹19.21 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Creta Lounge Edition and peak at ₹25.22 lakh for the top-spec Creta Electric Lounge Edition.
The new editions have been developed to cater to customers who expect more than a standard SUV. Hyundai has made significant changes towards the comfort, digital entertainment, exclusive style and lounge ambiance of the rear seats. The biggest change is the new integrated 29.46cm (11.6-inch) Rear Seat Entertainment System (RSE) across all three models.
Rear-seat entertainment at the forefront
Hyundai’s new Rear Seat Entertainment System transforms the rear cabin into a vehicle-based digital entertainment space. The system boasts OTT streaming, video playback, interactive gaming, phone mirroring and access to a certified app store.
Passengers can utilise the screen for entertainment on a day-to-day commute or long-distance trips. Features requiring internet connectivity, compatible devices or separate subscriptions or charges may apply. Hyundai has advised customers to look at the feature and warranty terms at an authorised dealership.
The system is complemented with the existing BOSE premium eight-speaker audio system, which features a front central speaker and subwoofer. This is intended to enable a more immersive audio-visual experience for rear passengers.
In addition to entertainment, the Lounge Editions receive a dedicated interior theme, premium seat design pattern, silver-coloured inserts and soothing Moonwhite ambient lighting. Lounge branding on the rear seat headrest cushions differentiate the models from the standard ones.
Hyundai Creta Lounge Edition
The Creta Lounge Edition has been developed on the King trim and is available with two powertrain options:
1.5-litre MPi petrol with iVT automatic transmission.

A premium strategy for Hyundai SUVs
The Lounge Edition range demonstrates Hyundai’s effort to offer more customised and premium variants without developing a new model. Instead of focusing solely on aesthetic upgrades, Hyundai has added features that enhance the passenger experience.
The rear entertainment system could be particularly useful for families commuting with children, chauffeur-driven owners and customers that spend long hours in traffic. The five-seater Alcazar configuration is also a unique proposition for customers that need a spacious second row without switching to a larger luxury SUV.
With prices starting from ₹19.21 lakh, the Lounge Edition models target customers that seek greater comfort, connected technology and exclusivity. By offering the upgrades across petrol, diesel and electric powertrains, Hyundai has been able to create a broader choice for customers with different usage patterns and budgets.
