MG Motor India has announced a special offer for the Hector SUV as the model completes seven years in the country. The anniversary programme will be available throughout August 2026 and offers benefits of up to Rs 60,000 on eligible Hector bookings.
The offer covers the entire Hector range. It includes anniversary benefits, exchange bonuses, loyalty rewards and corporate offers. The final benefit will depend on the variant selected, the customer’s eligibility and the dealership where the vehicle is purchased.
The Hector has played an important role in MG Motor’s journey in India. When it was launched, the SUV attracted attention with its large road presence, spacious cabin and several features that were not very common in this segment at the time. Its connected-car technology also helped MG create a different image in the Indian market.
Seven years later, the Hector continues to be sold as one of the company’s main SUVs. It is available with a wide range of features, including a large touchscreen infotainment system, connected-car functions, a panoramic sunroof, a digital instrument cluster and premium interior equipment. The facelifted version also gets styling changes such as a new Aura Hex grille, redesigned bumpers and new alloy wheels.

What does the offer include?
The anniversary programme has been designed to make the Hector more affordable for new buyers. Customers can claim benefits of up to Rs 60,000, which may include an exchange bonus for those trading in their old car.
Existing MG customers may also be eligible for loyalty benefits. Corporate buyers can receive separate benefits under the company’s corporate scheme. Since these offers are not the same for every customer, buyers will need to contact an MG dealership to know the exact amount available on a particular Hector variant.
The offer is valid only on eligible bookings made during August 2026. It may also be subject to stock availability and other terms set by the company or dealership.
Finance options available
Along with the anniversary benefits, MG is offering 100% funding on the Hector’s on-road price. This means customers may be able to finance the ex-showroom price along with registration, insurance and other charges included in the on-road cost.
The loan tenure can go up to 84 months, or seven years. A longer loan period can help keep the monthly EMI lower, but buyers should also consider the total interest payable before finalising the deal.
MG is also offering 100% funding support for accessories purchased with the new Hector. This could be useful for customers who want to add floor mats, styling elements or other genuine accessories without making a separate upfront payment. The availability of these finance options will depend on the lender and the buyer’s financial profile.
Hector price in India
The MG Hector is priced from Rs 11.99 lakh, ex-showroom. It competes with SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier, Volkswagen Taigun and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, depending on the variant and engine choice.
The Hector’s biggest strengths are its comfortable cabin, large dimensions and feature-loaded interior. It is especially suited to buyers who want a spacious family SUV with a strong road presence.
The anniversary offer makes the Hector a little more attractive, especially for customers who already have an old car to exchange or qualify for loyalty and corporate benefits. Still, buyers should check the final on-road price, insurance charges, EMI and waiting period before booking.
With benefits of up to Rs 60,000 and flexible finance options, MG is using the Hector’s seventh anniversary to attract more customers during the festive buying season. Interested buyers should visit an MG dealership soon, as the offer is available only for a limited period in August 2026.
