The festive season of 2026 has begun and Maruti Suzuki has started wooing customers with huge discounts on its premium Nexa models.

The country’s largest automotive manufacturer is offering benefits of up to ₹1.36 lakh on a number of passenger cars. These festive offers on Maruti cars will be valid from October 1, 2026. So, if you are planning to buy a new car during this festive season of Navratri and Diwali, then this could be the right time to do so.

There are multiple benefits that will be offered on the cars ranging between a certain amount. The offer will vary depending on the model, variant and fuel, so the amount is not uniform throughout. The Grand Vitara SUV will benefit the most from the offer, followed by the Fronx and the Invicto MPV.

Here is a detailed list of Maruti Nexa festive offers in October 2026.

Grand Vitara SUV: The Headline Grabber

It will be the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara that will be the headline grabber of the festive season. As the company’s top SUV, it will be pitted against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Volkswagen Taigun.

Maximum benefit: Up to ₹1.36 lakh

This offer will apply to the Sigma petrol variant (base model)

The maximum benefits here apply to the Sigma petrol variant, which is the base model. However, the benefits applicable to this model will be combined with other benefits. A buyer purchasing this model would get approximately ₹35,000 as a cash discount, an exchange bonus of up to ₹30,000 and other corporate/loyalty benefits which add up to ₹1.36 lakh.

Other variants:

Petrol MT and AT: Benefits of ₹1.26 lakh applicable on the Delta petrol variant of the Grand Vitara.

Zeta and Alpha variants: These offer benefits of ₹1.15 lakh. Here’s the catch – a 5-year extended warranty is also applicable on these variants.

AWD (All-wheel drive): This variant too will receive a benefit of ₹1.15 lakh + 5-year extended warranty.

Strong Hybrid and CNG:

The Strong Hybrid variants will have benefits of up to ₹1.20 lakh + 5-year extended warranty + applicable road-tax benefits (could be significant in states like Delhi and Maharashtra where a lower road-tax applies to hybrid vehicles)

The Delta CNG variant will get benefits of up to ₹1 lakh and the Zeta CNG will get benefits worth ₹90,000.

Fronx: The Crossover Deal

We now move on to the Maruti Fronx – the coupe-SUV which shares its platform with the Baleno. This will be a closely fought contest with the Tata Punch and the Hyundai Exter.

Maximum benefit: Up to ₹27,100

Turbo petrol (1.0L Boosterjet): The turbo-petrol variants will get the maximum benefit of ₹27,100. Now, this could be due to the need to clear inventory or to promote the higher-margin turbo-petrol variants.

1.2L petrol (Sigma MT/AGS): The normally aspirated petrol variants will get a benefit of ₹22,100.

CNG: The factory-fitted CNG option will get a benefit of ₹15,000.

Although these numbers may pale in comparison to the numbers offered on the Grand Vitara, they are nevertheless significant, especially on a car priced between ₹7-12 lakh. So, on a ₹10 lakh car, these benefits will bring the on-road price down by a significant margin.

Invicto: Premium MPV Savings

The Maruti Invicto MPV, based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, will not be kept out of the festive fun either.

Maximum benefit: Up to ₹95,000

All variants of this premium MPV will get benefits of up to ₹95,000. Considering the starting price of the Invicto – about ₹25 lakh – this will make the car significantly cheaper than the Toyota Innova Hycross. That should help Maruti woo customers looking at a hybrid MPV.

XL6 and Baleno: The Family Choices

The numbers of XL6 and Baleno were not discussed in the press release but it is expected that these cars will also get benefits as part of the festive offers.

XL6: 6-seater MPVs usually get a range of offers during festive seasons. Benefits range between ₹20,000-40,000 on these cars during festive seasons.

Baleno: Being a new model, the cash benefits on the Baleno may range between ₹15,000-25,000. However, the exchange offers will be attractive to promote the car against the Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz.

How to Maximize Your Savings

It is to be noted that the benefits mentioned in the “up to” category apply to a combination of various benefits. In order to get the maximum benefit, one will have to combine several benefits:

Consumer cash discount: The straight-out discount given by the company.

Exchange bonus: This benefit is given when you trade in your old car. This amount will be higher when you exchange a car with Maruti.

Loyalty bonus: This benefit is given to existing Maruti owners.

Corporate discount: This benefit applies to employees of affiliated companies.

Scrappage benefit: An additional benefit applicable on some cars when an old, unroadworthy car is scrapped.

Pre-Navratri booking offer: An additional benefit applicable if the car is booked between October 1 and October 10, 2026.

Maruti’s festive offer in October 2026 is an attempt to stay on top of the heap, especially in the SUV and premium hatchback segments. The Grand Vitara SUV appears to be the biggest winner with benefits of ₹1.36 lakh. However, this offer is applicable only on the base Sigma petrol variant. So, if you are thinking of buying a Maruti, keep an eye on this offer – especially if you fall within the target audience of this car. The offer will expire on October 10 so make sure to visit your nearest Nexa Maruti dealership to get the best deal possible.
