The Kia Sorento is one of the most awaited premium SUVs for the Indian market. Expected engine options
The biggest highlight of the India-spec Sorento is likely to be its hybrid engine. Kia is expected to offer a 1.6-litre turbo-petrol strong-hybrid powertrain. This engine could produce around 238 PS and may be paired with a six-speed automatic gearbox.
The hybrid system will use a petrol engine and an electric motor together. This should provide smooth performance and better fuel efficiency, especially in city traffic. It will also help Kia offer a more environment-friendly option to buyers who do not want a fully electric vehicle.
